Concept of metaball modeling ( want your thoughts on it )

well being able to use the non destructive part of metaballs plus being able to handle multiple polygons without destroying your pc and adding the ability to model metaballs and have custom shapes will be great .from my pov having custom metaballs with meta booleans may lead to great results . im having doubts about posting it on right click select so please give me your opinion on this idea

Can you flesh out your idea here with examples and pictures?

You can already do this, by setting a metaballs to “Negative”, it will scoop out from other metaballs, exactly like a Boolean modifier

no need for a picture i can explain :
being able to manage and edit multiple faces like with mesh and without subdiv modifer can be a solution for surface modeling without nurbs and for creating base meshs without pressing duplicate and scale a million times and can lead to better base mesh results compared to zspheres or skin modifier due to increase flexibility thats what i want to say plus being able to convert objects like sci fi parts into metaballs will give us easy boolean abilities by just mushing the parts carefully so we dont lose detail

That is basically the idea behind OpenVDB remeshing.

Nowadays, you can use any mesh, make booleans or just join shape and use OpenVDB to remesh.
You can do that using dedicated modifiers or do that with geometry nodes.

That is a little bit limited. There is not distance thresholds like for metaballs.
But that would be interesting to have a more intuitive workflow with more options to make it as intuitive as metaballs use.
