So, yesterday afternoon one of our departments (which is notoriously bad at waiting till the last minute on everything) came and asked me if I could make them an animated bumper for a conference that they were doing. The catch… the conference started in 2 hours, and they would need it at least 10 minutes prior to starting.
So I said “Hey, I’m up for a challenge”, and sat down and knocked this animation out. I think including render time I spent about an hour and a half on this, and there are noticeable sacrifices I had to make to make the deadline (most obviously mesh resolution). But all things considered, I think it turned out alright.
