The Connecticut Film, Music, and Interactive Festival is adding a series on interactive media, with workshops, exhibition space, and panel discussions. We have a heavy focus on open source, independent games, and independent media. I thought Blender as an open source tool for both film and games would make an excellent topic for a workshop.
I was wondering if anyone here might be interested in hosting an introduction to blender workshop. The festival is in Danbury CT, June 2-7, with interactive running June 4-6. Danbury is easily reachable from New York City on Metro North, and we can provide accommodations and possibly air or rail transportation. Presenters will get a free all access pass to the festival.
We also have exhibition space for very reasonable prices, if you have a company or organisation that would be interested in reaching our audience.
Our web site is http://www.ctfilmfest.com
The interactive section will be posted there early next week.
Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested.
Below is our request for proposals.
