Hi all, I have a chain of 3 floating bones, A-B-C. A is the parent of B, B is the parent of C
I want to use the connect function to lengthen B and connect with C.
If I use the connect function however, B connects to A
, or C connects to B
Is there a way to get around this?
Can’t swap the parenting order around, A and C are connected to other bones. Thanks for the help!

Why are the bones floating like this? Why are they not connected together? Do you know how you are gong to control the vertices of your mesh between the bones? What is the model, if this is a biped arm, your armature is not going to give you good animation results.
The behaviour you have described is entirely in-keeping with Blender’s methods.
The bones you have drawn can be parented together, but do not check the “connected” checkbox if you do not want them to be connected. Connected bones always have the head of one coincident with the tail of the next one.
Cheers, Clock.
