Consequence

Hi all!

I’m a little new here, so I hope to be more active in this forum. To start, let me share my new render that I did it a few weeks ago.

Blender 2.5 + Nodes Comp. + GIMP for textures. Highres here: http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/2080/renderfinal.jpg
This is my first time making this kind of render and using completely Blender to it, because all my previous renders are of ArchViz. See them on my portfolio online: http://www.victorphellipe.tk/.

The title of this image is a reference from the consequence of a lot of problems here in Brazil, as bad public politic, apathy from society… I could spend my life saying problems :frowning: That graffiti on the wall is from Bansky, a street artist.

Hope you like it. C&C are welcome.

See you,
Victor.

Hi. Nice scene although a bit dark in my opinion. I check you resources and found great. Thanks for sharing too many things… And in portuguese.

Great concept! I agree with MarcosV, it’s a bit dark. Not to worry, though, even adjusting the curves in Photoshop or Gimp help a bit

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. It was my intention make this scene dark to give it an atmosphere obscure, but I should have crossed the line about this.

Best,
Victor.

I imagined you had that in mind. You hide though nice details. At least, the street light could be on to give little more brightness. By the way, nice adjustment, blndr08.

Very atmospheric work. The textures on your buildings are impressive. I agree with MarcosV: light from a streetlight, for instance, can be used to highlight the details you want highlighted and you can use negative lights to make some areas darker.

Hi!

Negative lamps are very useful tools, but I forgot it completely. Maybe it’s because I use BI just for some simple test. Thanks for remember! I try to make a good lightning scene, but some shadows are upseting me (because it was too much), so I reduce a lot of lights on the scene. In the end, the whole atmospheric work was done in Nodes compositor.
