I got it once, but I don’t remember how to make Actions seamless (constant) I thought it was Cyclic but nothing works =/ is it an interpolation or an extrapolation?
You just have to have the first frame, and the one after the last be exactly the same- it would be cyclic extend more if it weren’t in the BGE, but the GE just jumps to the first frame again rather than continuing past the last one, so extend modes have no effect.
When in doubt remember that ex means out, and in means, well, in. So, INterpolation is what happens INSIDE the action, while EXtrapolaion is what happens before and after it.
What I mean is. Well… In an action, when you don’t have interpolation he slows all actions and “pauses” at the end. When you have a cyclic extrapolation set, he never slows or stops, he just continues on. Even in the GE if you just have the first cycle entered in the action, he still goes right into the loop.
By the way I got it all fixed for some reason on the windows machine it wouldn’t work, but when I got back to my mac it worked fine, strange =/
I guess maybe just another 2.46 bug. I like my 2.45.15 build =D
sounds to me like you had one or two too many frames entered in the action actuator- I do that sometimes accidentally, and that’s the effect I get.
when I use cyclic extend mode, it has no effect on the action itself, it basically copies it again and again- so if the action slowed to a near stop at the end, it would jump to moving fast again when it started over, cyclic or not.
