Hey guys, I was wondering if there’s a node setup or anything that provides constant blur on the shadows for the directional light, like the shadow buffer spotlight. See the attachment example to see what I mean.
You mean from a Point Lamp? I’m assuming you’re using the ray shadows? The slow way to do it is to raise the Sample control in the Shadow panel of the Lamp properties. In conjunction with the Soft Size control, this will give you a softer shadow. You can also separate out the Shadow pass with the compositor, blur it, then mix it back in. That’ll be in the RenderLayers panel of the Render properties.
