Continuos brush??

When I draw fast I obtain a no continuos brush (right), there is a way to increase the velocity an obtain a continuos brush (left)? There is a new better version of scultp blender that I could downloaded?

I assume that you have space set to 0 (default) so it really depends on how fast is your pc and how many polys are there.
I guess it’s better to paint slowly on higher level of resolution.
Even on the left the brush doesn’t seem continous.

I’m not aware about any update of sculpt mode.

There is a development build with the new “smooth stroke” option.

http://www.graphicall.org/builds/builds/showbuild.php?action=show&id=282

from the CVS log:

Sculpt Mode Added a new input control that smooths the brush stroke This option controlled by the menu item Sculpt>Input Control>Smooth Stroke. When enabled, the brush has a delayed effect on the model; a green line is drawn to indicate the smoothed path of the stroke. After ~200 pixels, the first half of the stroke will be applied to the model; the process then repeats, with a new segment of the stroke being applied to the model after every 200 pixels. On mouse up, any remaining portion of the stroke will be applied

Mind that this is a development build and is not guaranteed to work flawlessly so use it at your own risk.

Whoa!! It’s great, superb, I loveee it!
Very, very usefull!

Only thing that is missing is the hot key for that. Should be something near of F,D,S keys.

Somehow it reminds me ZBrush’s lazy mouse. Maybe it’s just becouse that line.

Something like lazy mouse and pinch combo would be great feature.

Thanks for the build!

Yes, it reminded me of that zbrush feature too (although I don’t own it). Thanks for the heads up, I’ll have to test that build.
