Contrast In Blender & Wood Texture

Hi all. I have created some furniture in a room set using a light oak wood texture. When I raise the contrast under “look” in colour management the wood oak texture colour completely changes and it looks more like a yellow beech or maple colour. Is there anyway of getting around this? When I leave the look to “none” the wood texture looks fine but the image is very very flat looking.
Thanks for your time

You could slap a hue/saturation and curve node to the oak diffuse texture, then tweak the colors after you adjust the contrast.

Perfect, I will give that a go

what color you see in render is also function of the color management and light set up you do but also light intensity

check also the world light setting ect…

good luck
