Control particle size with vertex group ?

Hi everyone,

I thought there was a “size” field in the “vertex groups” panel in a particle system’s properties ? I am trying to fine-tune distribution of things on another thing, and eh… it would be handy… does it exist ?


You can use a vertex group for “length” which will affect size.

Thanks for your reply, but I am not getting any results using “length”… that should be pretty obvious though !

I was using hair, not emission, doens’t seem to work with emission. It does work with a black and white texture using ‘size’

I didn’t know you could control properties with textures ! Thanks !
