Controlled particle animation

I’ve been thinking if it would be possible to:
1: Use rigid body sim to drop an object an break it (previously sliced with cell fracture) an after it broke, the shattered pieces would form some shape on the ground instead of randomly falling apart.
2: Use cell fracture to shatter an object, have the fractures floating around (using a particle system and a force field i suppose) and then it would form the original object (like a reversed explosion).
I’m fairly new to blender,so if the answer is too obvious, please pardon me

Thanks in advane,cheers!
