I am making hair for a model using sets of three curves - path, taper and bevel. I can control the resolution in the U direction, but can’t seem to find a setting to control the resolution of the cross section. As is, Blender produces way more polygons than I wold ever need in a 1000 lifetimes. Is there a way to reduce the polygon count, other that using a poly curve as a bevel object? It wold be very nice to have a slider so I could see, in real time, what is the lowest polygon count I can get away with.
