Hello eveyone. I tried to watch a video tutorial named “Creating a bunch of balloons”. The video was very long and my internet’s speed is quite slow so i have just managed to watch 6 minutes of it. I cannot even, you know, pull the bar like you do in youtube so i have to watch all from the beginning. I cant afford to wait such a long time for it to load. So does anyone have any suggestions to what i should do or can anyone “translate” the whole video into text and images so that i can easily follow the tutorial. You can skip out some unnecessary parts for the sake of your own convenience. Thanks.
I think you can download the video from vimeo and watch it at your convenience
that would be the easiest thing to do - other than up your internet speed
some videos, including this one, is not downloadable.

If you have a mac you can use Safari, open the “Activity” window, then when you start to play the window, you’ll see in the window, on the right side, something like “2.2MB of 78MB” or something (it’s tracking the download of the video file to your browser’s cache). Option-double-click that line in the activity window and it will download the mp4 file.
@benu: i have windows xp sp2.
@waylow: “Creating bunch of balloons” is a protected video. You cannot have it downloaded. Instead of the download button, it says “Sorry this video is not downloadable”.
so can anyone who has watched this video write all the important steps so that i may follow them.

as i said before, my internet’s speed is extremely slow and the size of the video is about 400MB+. And i think there is no resume support for Firefox downloads. By the way, how do you download from your browser?
I use free download manager to download pretty much any file even though I’m on a broadband connection. It should work great with you & your slower connection for downloading large files.
ok. at least give me the materials for the ballons, a picture of the nodes and other useful settings
