Convert Bezier Curve to Poly and Add vertices

I am getting the hang of the interface a little more, now I just need to know a few things.

  1. How to I convert my bezier curve into poly so I can do a straight edge outline of my logo and turn it back after I am done tracing?

  2. How do I add vertices to my curve.

  3. Once I finish my trace, how to I actually fill my trace?

Set spline type in toolshelf. Use V to set the handle type for each control point

W / subdivide

Set your curve to 2D in the curve properties panel and ensure it is closed (Toggle Cyclic button in toolshelf)
