Hi! So, I have a liquid simulation I would like to emit smoke. I understand that I cannot stack one fluid sim upon another, so I think about converting it to an animated mesh. How can this be done?
Thanks!

You could export the mesh to alembic and then reimport it. Alembic is a file format that stores an animation by creating a separate mesh for each frame, it can even be transferred to other software.
Can a fluid sim really not emit smoke? Not even if you create a second domain for the smoke sim?
Blender doesn’t allow for more fluid sim modifiers per object. But it’s ok, as long as there are workarounds nearby. I’ll try exporting as alembic. Thanks!
Alembic worked wonders. <3
