convert materials to UV mapped texture

Hello blender heads!

How can I convert materials with textures (for examples: procedural
textures) to UV mapped textures?

yes, there used to be a texture-baking script somewhere. pls search the forum here as well as on, i’m sure you’ll find something.


i found the radio bake scirpt and it will be built in to blender
may be in blender 2.35 ?? %|

who knows? do ppl say that?

In the UV editor in the header menus under UV there is an entry for “Texture Baker”. This doesn’t work 100% as it requires some adjustment of the UV’s after Loading the baked texture but works well enough to use in a pinch.
