Cool Unable to Render animation using computation device GPU under blender

Hello everyone, i hope you all doing well,
coming to the point!! few hrs back i’m trying to learn some mind boobling animation with blender. However, was redering with CPU as Cpomputational device, after few googling i knew about GPU rendering and grabbed CUDA toolkit. everything went fine until i rendered using GPU,blender says “LODING KERNELS for first time it may take few minutes” but after waiting 2 hours i was dissapointed alot hence posted here. blender started to feel sluggish, only 5 frames was processed in 2hrs that’s sad isn’t it?, hence i posted here, any idea buddies? whats wrong?

Configurations :

CPU : AMD Phenom II x6 - 1055t - 2.8/3.4GHz(turbo)
GPU : Nvidia GT 520 - 2GB
OS : Linux debian 3.16.0-4-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt7-1 (2015-03-01) i686 GNU/Linux
OS Last updated : 15/3/2015
Blender : 2.72b
Nvidia Driver : 340.65

Please have look at snapshots i’ve attached

Please help me out for :

  1. GPU Rendering ??
because it kernals are taking much more time to load first time then expected !!!
  • Am i missing on something here?

BLENDER EXPERT USERES PLEASE HELP!!

Your CPUs performances looks like really better than your GPU performances… so try to switch off GPU render or change GPU card i.m.m.o…

It would be a good test to see if it still renders on the CPU. If so, it might just be that the GPU is not powerful enough.

Blender uses GPU resources to do image calculations, hence less time is devoted to screen updates and sluggishness as a result.
Tech Specs on GPU says CUDA Cores - 48 and Graphics Performance - low-2993. I have no idea what is the number 2993 but 48 CUDA cores is not what makes a breeze for renderings, sorry for bringing bad news.
