Hey,
Ive got a blend which holds a pretty complex compositing node setup and would like to add it into my file.
However, I dont see an option to do this. Sure I can append materials etc, but not the compositing nodes. The only method Ive found is to append the scene, but this also adds all the stuff which I dont want.
Can anyone help?

Try the new script/addon? You can save node groups as .py scripts that act like presets (it comes with some as well).

Save the node setup as a node group which you can then append

Yet another thing we can do since… I don’t remember exactly:
Select nodes => Ctrl-C => open new file and in node editor => Ctrl-V
When I discovered this I went completely crazy.
