After i made a few scenes and get it the way i want, what if after that i want to copy an object from one scene to another scene can that be done or do i have to append or link it ?

Yes, you must link it ( Ctrl -L keys) first, then in the new scene, make a copy of the object, and then you could delete the “linked” one!
