Correct armature parenting?

i want to know…

what is correct armature parenting and how do i find all the parents? For making a model for 001 game creator.

Because parts of the body were missing when i put it in my game.

This is a difficult question to answer. There are many correct ways to parent something to an armature and many wrong ways as well!

One test you can do is to select you armature and move it around. Any object that does not move with the armature is probably not correctly parented.

where can i find the list of parents being used? Also what type of movement?

The area called the “Outliner” will show a list of objects in your scene. The names of objects that are parents will appear to contain the other objects inside them like folders.

Just press G and wiggle the armature around! That’s what I do.

where is the “outliner” in the screen when open blender?

Also when i press “G” do i select the whole thing or all the bones?
