I’m having a problem baking out normals and ambient occlusion from a high res mesh to a low poly mesh with two UV maps. The UV map on the low poly model is separated into head UVs and shoulder UVs, but when I bake, it will only bake the normals correctly to the head. Blender tries to bake the normals for the shoulder/chest area to the first map, but since there is no UV data for the bottom of the mesh there, all I get is weird artifacts and whatnot. Is there any solution to this problem?
FINALLY figured this out. If anyone else stumbles across this problem let me know and I’ll explain.
