Hey. I would like to know what is the best workflow for sculpting hands & feet in blender, specially from the more experienced sculptors around here.
I prefer using Dyntopo for my sculpting since I end up retopoing my characters for texturing or even animation and then use Multires for the microdetails. But there is a part of the sculpting workflow that seems to elude me. And that’s the hands and feets.
Simply put, I struggle with the sculpting of small thin objects very close to eachother. While with the hands, I can sculpt each finger individually and then attach it to the palm, it’s very difficult to sculpt between the fingers once everything is placed together.
The feet are worse since the toes are so close to eachother it becomes almost impossible to connect to the foot if you sculpt them individually, and the retopo process is a nightmare.
So, how do you sculpt toes and fingers in a way that it does not feel like your figthing the software?
