I’m using Blender 2.49b on a Windows computer and very often my files get corrupted.
When I open a saved file I see some layers disappearing in front of my eyes.
I use the autosave option and almost all times I can recover my work opening one of the backup files (blend1, blend2, blend3…).
The problem is that sometimes I can’t recover the file at all.
I tried to open the file on a Mac computer with Blender 2.49b and same problem occurs.
It is possible to recover data from corrupted files?
How can I trust the saved files?
I’m attaching a file (with a simple room) that used to have 5 layers with objects, but after saving now there’s only three layers with objects.
