Can anyone tell me the best way to create the little plastic wire support that goes around the cushion in my simple couch cushion blend file, see below.
Similar to what is in this random picture from searching in google:

I had selected a series of edges and attempted to create the wire through extruding and shrink\fatten but I couldn’t get the normals to be consistent when using shrink\fatten for whatever reason.

I’ve included one option for you here. I created a curve and a bevel object for the cording around the cushion. I also redid the cushion a bit here for more clarity.
