Could anyone please help me with my camera?

Hello all together!
Could anyone help me please? I am new to Blender and am just about to do my first animation. However, my current problem is that while animating my camera is simply drifting off and virtually staring into the ground without me having animated it to do so. No matter what I am doing I can’t keep the camera in position. I tried to set counteracting keyframes - as you can imagine this had an awful effect on my animation. I also tried to delete the camera and create a new one. But this did not solve my problem. What am I doing wrong? Could you please help me?
I actually would have liked to upload a video but as a new member to the forum, I am not allowed to upload anything.
Kind regards,
Nadja

Hey, Not really sure whats happening

Mind sharing the file through https://www.file.io/ maybe?

Of course - here is the link

Thank you!

is camera parented to anything?

No the camera isn’t parented to anything.

the link says error404
Is the problem only with rotation of the camera or also it’s position?

Sort of. I haven’t changed anything about the camera settings but as soon as I start the animation it first focuses on the scene and then swings round its axis and only shows the ground.

Sorry, the link again didn’t work

Maybe it’s the gimbal lock (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zc8b2Jo7mno)

Is your camera rotation mode euler?

Save as a new file, delete all objects you don’t want to share, possibly replace them with some dummies for orientation purposes. Share the animated camera, it’s hard to guess what could be wrong.
