Hi, i was searching for the possibility of ussing GPU computed physical engines on blender, then i fount PROJECT CHRONO: it is an opensource physical engine that can run on gpu.
on the backwards is not focused on gaming (performance), but on technical simulations (exactitude). Anyway i think that deserves a look for the future integration on blender.
The idea about a gpu PhyEng. came from the possibility of using the remaining process power of the onboard graphyc chips as a tool for game scenes, and (i think, more interesting) a new tool that would allow development of addons that could rely on the use of real time physic calculations. link PROJECT CHRONO
