Couldn't resist...[update at bottom]

I had this idea while, … well, guess.

First image-post. so don’t be cruel…

The background wall is the WIP part I think

What do you think?

Daniel

[Edit] Changed the wall…

No Perforation? Maybe in the next security patch

Hey, looking good! One thing I noticed is that the plate that the TP roll is mounted too is a little “SMOOSHY” looking. I think this is a common problem with subsurfed meshes (am I correct in assuming you are using subsurfs?) People tend to let things get too rounded and thus the SMOOSHY effect. Try tightening up the curves and edges a bit and maybe add some details like screws or something. Keep up the good work!

TorQ

he he he.

Pretty good. I see you got some texture on the paper, but I wonder if maybe the hanging piece’s edge isn’t a bit to hard. Maybe softening it up a bit or adding some perforations for the tear or something. That’s all.

Nice job.

Nope, it’s nurbs circles, the roll is then converted to mesh to extrude some vertices to a sheet.

YACK!!.. The paper is already dirty!

Cool render!

Daniel -

I don’t know about you, but I definitely like it better with the last sheet ripped. Nice job!

I am reading [digital] texturing and painting right now, so forgive me - but the metal hardware could use some wear too.

It is looking REALLY good I think.

I call it finished…

very good i like it, the concept is funny too, even though windows is the only OS ive used since the first time i touched a computer (i like windows, but anyway i think the theme is funny)

DanielP, very good work. How did you do the edge of the paper? Transparent texture or modeled? Ah I’ve noticed the shadow gives it away, transparent texture.

So, I know you’ve finished, but if I may offer a crit, offset the mesh edge of the paper diagonally so it matches the angle of the texture. Then the shadow will be right.

A cool, well textured, modeled and funny idea,

Sonix.

neat render
neat theme

I don’t hope, when you need paper from that thing (don’t know english word, can someone tell me?) It will get stuck, or give errors. Btw is it bug free?

I have a toilet mesh. I’ll put up a blend if you think you might use it. good job btw

Thanks folks,

EEEEH, buggy toilet paper. Imagine you have to upgrade your M$-Wipe© to get a clean ,well you know…

modron, thank you, but I don’t think i do a full toilet scene.
(But i have strange ideas when i read posts like "My wc entry  )

btw, i use windows also, so this was just a gag.

    2.Gentoo
    3.FreeBSD 5.0 Relase
    4.Slackware
    5.Dyne Bolic

Favorite: Liked or preferred above all others; regarded with special favor

how can you have a list of five things that are your “favorite” ?

DanielP ive had the same ideas too, until like 1 month ago. lol.

 It’s simple . Instead numbers insert “=” between distributions and os’s - all at one machine.
Sorry … i didn’t use proper word. Nex time i’ll be more careful.
