Courtney Gears

I wonder how much too the render and why aren’t you happy personally the animation looks great or maybe I’m still beginner and can see bad things on it

@CAE-ID Thank you. Glad to see that you like my work!

@LIQUID_FULCRUM Haha, thank you so much! I hope to finish it soon.

@Genux10 I started rendering around November if I remember correctly, so it’s been about 3-4 months now. Oh, and it’s not like I’m not happy with the outcome. I just want to point out that I know it could be a lot better and I see a lot of my own mistakes.

Because of how good this animation is, I decided to take a small fraction of my characters of my own to become her personal bodyguards. An entire company detachment from the 103rd Naval-Airborne Assault Brigade

Wow, it looks amazing! Did you design it yourself, or did you use some image from the internet? How are such things done?

The image is basically a redesign of Courtney’s original boss icon from Ratchet&Clank:UYP. And I actually had a legitimate military supply contractor make the brassard for me, the entire idea basically boiled into fruition considering my OC’s private military corporation consists of overly augmented cyborgs with no morals when it comes to getting the job done.

And it looks good on sleeves. Brigade 103 is also mainly consistent of former Soviet military personnel who have defected to Missilus for a better life, but at a cost.

It should also be worth noting with how I depict things for the 103rd NAAB. The first mechanized company assigned to protect Courtney suggested to their XCO that they should adopt her likeness to represent the entire unit considering how many times she would hire them, just to see their supreme commander. The head/CEO of the PMC.

Sorry for my late answer.
Honestly, on arm it looks bigger than I thought. Can I ask how many of these shoulder pads you have? As you said “it looks good on sleeves” - that’s for sure.
By the way, this print looks pretty good quality. I wonder if it’s because Courtney’s face itself is heavily stylized, so it’s easier to hide potential imperfections.

I finally managed to bring this project to completion. I have to admit that this project turned out to be more difficult than I initially expected. It also took me longer than I expected, but I did it!
I’ll soon start a thread in the Finished Projects where I’ll describe the whole project and my journey with it a bit better. Of course I’ll also upload the whole thing, with additional close-ups and renders, to ArtStation when I have a moment.
But for now, I’ll just leave a link to the final animation. Enjoy.

As for the quantity. This is the only brassard that I consider as the prototype considering I want it both in olive drab and a strange Russian camouflage (Soviet KLMK). So until then I will have to design and commission more as well as put together a standard uniform for the paratroopers designated to protect the robot popstar, however should it be finished and I roll out with a selected quantity.

I was wondering if you were interested in receiving a brassard as a reward and memento to this project’s memory.

Ah, I see - so you simply check what the quality looks like from different sources and choose on that basis where to place a real order for a larger quantity. That makes a lot of sense.

I was wondering if you were interested in receiving a brassard as a reward and memento to this project’s memory.

Thank you for your generosity, I really appreciate it. The truth is though, I wouldn’t know what to do with this gift. It would almost certainly just sit there, gathering dust on a shelf somewhere.

It turned out amazing, you should be really proud.

Thank you! I am, but honestly I’m the type of person who prefers to focus on things that went wrong rather than celebrate successes. Still, I’m happy with what I’ve achieved here.
