Crash while rendering huge meshes

We are doing massive simulation of human red blood cells on the cluster (our own code) and during these runs we generate ply meshes, which we render using Blender (so we are doing scientific visualisation). When mesh is medium size, everything works great, yet when we reach mesh size of 100K - we observe Blender crashes. Mesh example is available there. Would be thankful for the advices regarding the optimal way of rendering collection of such meshes.
