I did a philosopher with this really weird Crayola modelling putty for kids. I had to work real fast because it air dries and sets to a solid and unworkable state. It’s mostly a lip synch experiment of a philosopher asking himself a deep reflexive question.
I see that you are still working with the clay. Nice. Have you given any more consideration to molds and armatures yet ? Or are you going for the raw feel of pure clay ?
I plan to work with wire armatures. My buddy is working and experimenting on a metal armature system because he has access to a metal shop. As for molds, I’ll wait until I can learn more before I attempt stuff like that. In the meantime, I am having lots of fun coming up with these characters and learning about light, movement, expression etc…
