Crazy car blueprints...

Hey there…

I’m trying to have a second go at a realistic car, after the complexity of the backlights put a cruel stop to my previous project

I normally know how to set up background images for blueprints and make them match each other, but the ones I found for the Citroen DS 21 I’m trying to make are just weird… The bounding box I put around them shows BIG discrepancies!

Here’s a screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/QxfcV

How would you guys go about fixing these please?

Thank you in advance…

Cheers!

by finding a better blueprint.

Heehehe!

Thanks, but those are by far the best available…

I did not mean to make a joke, really, but wrong references cannot lead to anything good.
And without a good reference you can’t even correct this one.

OK, but those are really the best… So I guess I’m gonna have to choose another car for my exercise then…

There’s plenty of references around, perhaps you could gather some of them and try to over impose one to the other and to understand what is wrong, or extrapolate a coherent set of views.

Not a bad idea…

And maybe I could use the one you just posted for the general shape, and go back to the previous one just for the details… I prefer the headlights of the 1971 model…

Thanks for you input guys!

Anyway, I would try and overlap them in photoshop or similar, in multiply or some other suitable mode, just to get a better idea of differences.

good work!
