"Create a Shattered Glass Title Animation in Blender 2.5" with Cell Fracture?

I’m creating a logo animation, that begins with chunks of the logo flying together to form a large part of the logo. Andrew Price’s tutorial on this topic (http://vimeo.com/14607511) seems to only really deal with small shards as it was developed prior to the Cell Fracture add-on.

I’ve managed to get my logo mesh Cell Fracture-friendly, and I’ve got the “chunks” generated, but I have no idea where to go from here. How do I control the physics properties (gravity, rotation, etc)? Can I? Does this add-on only work in the game engine and is not usable for this scenario?
