Create Collection inside Geonodes?

Is the following workflow possible in Geometry Nodes: first, have procedural generator group create a few variations of some object (like a rock) and then use those variants as collection instances in Instance on Points to place those objects randomly?

Yes, at least now with “Split to Instances” node:

I suppose, the trick is to group all the geometry that’s related to the same variation with an integer value.
