creating a hair with hair on it?


i created a tube and added some modifiers:

  1. array modifier to add length to the hair
  2. a curve modifier to form it
  3. a particle system to create hair on the tube

The hair particle system does not “grow” from the tube but from the original place of the unmodified tube, without any modifiers added.

I’d like to continue to use the array modifier because i want to give the hair some structure, later.

How can i add a hair particle system to a mesh that has an array and a curve modifier?

seems like a bug. The ParticleSystem modifier doesn’t seem to work properly with other modifiers too, like Mirror and Solidify.
