I apologise in advance if I missed something obvious, but
can some one show me how to get an image in to an emptie
so that I can view it in all views including perspective view.

- Shift+A -> empty -> image
- Then look in the side properties to load an image in (red arrow in image)
- Position it where you need
- In the outliner, deselect the little arrow icon so you can’t accidentally click it. (red circle in image)
Thanks xrg but I don’t appear to have image icon so I suppose no image dialogue either.
Ok found it ,I thought using the Object icon would bring up the properties
just discovered the Object data icon DUH! ,please excuse my noobieness
