Say I do a lot of importing of fbx files, and I want to make that into a hotkey… what would be the process.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. Teach me ones, and I shall never bother you again… with this question.

You can assign a hotkey to most things in Blender by right-clicking their trigger and choosing Assign Shortcut.
So for importing .fbx files you would click File > go to Import > right-click FBX (.fbx) > Press a key to assign a shortcut.
