I’m trying to create a foaming type look (such as the foam you might find in a carbonated soda) I’ve looked all tried looking around for some tutorials, Can’t seem to get my hands on any
If anyone has any good ideas, please give me a brief (or in depth :D) outline of how you would go about creating a foam look.
try the 3D repository for material
you might find some material

These textures look great. Except I can’t really go the textures route in this case, I need something that can create actual geometry.
then make your own model and then you ahve to texture it
with procedural texture or UV mapping if you got picture of it

www.kajimba.com , they have released a blend file with tests for the beer glass, maybe you can look at and take some ideas.

You could try a bunch of little overlapping circles with a transparent foam texture. Don’t model the tiniest bubbles, use a texture for that.

Ah, thanks organic that was very helpful. I honestly searched before and I guess I didn’t find that.

No problem.
I hope it helps, it sounds complicated.
