Is it possible to seperate objects into their own worlds after they’ve been created in a single world? If so, how?
Thanks.

Do you mean layers? You can seperate on layers. You can also create scenes.
No… I mean, like… You know when you make an object, you get that little yellow dot circle thingy? Well, I was wondering if it was possible to seperate objects linked to one yellow dot circle thing into their own seperate yellow dot circle things.
Hope this clears it up a bit :-?
eh? do you mean like say different levels in a game? If so you do use scenes
The yellow dots represent an object. The actual verts are part of a mesh.
So, to answer your question, yes it is possible. Select the verts (of the mesh) you want and hit Y to split them into a new object. Be aware that this cannot be undone.
This is what you mean?

I think he means how do you separate two objects that was made in the same group.
Like he made a UV sphere and then without exiting editing mode, he made a cube or alike.
Well, if I’m right then to fix this problem, all you need to do is select the all the verticies (yellow dots) belonging to the mesh that you want to separate from the other mesh and hit “P” and answer “yes” to the pop-up question “Separate? (No undo!)”
I hope that helped,
Wolf
ah yes, that makes sense now
Sorry, wasn’t thinking clearly after collecting a weeks worth of sleep deprivation. Yes, that’s exactly what I need, but now, I need some other help.
I want to seperate faces (because I want to make models for a game, but it only allows seperate flat planes) and place them in their own object group thingy discussed earlier. I’ve been told to use the Unweld script, but I can’t seem to select the seperate faces of a cube I made after I did so.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found out! Thanks!
Thanks.
Ok… is I’ve got how to seperate, but how do you merge objects?
Select the objects then press Ctrl+J; note with joining or separating you can undo by pressing Alt+U in object mode.
