Creative handling of this shutdown - 3D designer wanted for art project in Berlin

We are looking for a 3D designer / artist who is itching to use this shutdown for a great art project.

We do not want to be paralysed by panic and fear! Of course we keep to the new rules of conduct, but we want to turn to the beautiful things and try to continue to be creative and inventive. Since at the moment nobody knows when we may come out again with events and exhibitions to our beloved audience, we open new ways and try to create a virtual exhibition. The artist and actor Axel Neumann (Tatort) has already worked out the idea in detail. The only thing we are missing now is you:

If you love to do magic with a 3D program, but lack concrete ideas, this could be a perfect match: The animation will extend over several rooms and make painting a very special experience. The end result should not be a glossy advertising film, but a gripping story that gets under your skin. The focus will be on beautiful pictures, a strong dramaturgy and a magical image/music adaptation (including classical rock music). We want to make the audience shine, surprise and touch them.

Axel has already realized two such projects. You decide whether we work with 3ds Max or Blender. Since the technical requirements are not very complex, you could also work in the hobby area or be a beginner.

We assume 4 concentrated working weeks. Powerful rendering facilities have already been organized in our circle of supporters. You are also welcome to consider and document the project as an internship. But one in which you won’t be parked to get coffee, but where you become part of a wonderful story, which is fun, which offers a quick sense of achievement, in which there is a lot to learn and the results of which we can proudly present to the audience later on.

We are trying to get funding for the project, but it is not clear whether this is realistic in this incredibly horrible time. Therefore we say now: We can’t offer money. However, with regard to possible future exploitation, we will talk about fair participation models. Get in touch! Ask us a lot of questions and find out if this would be something for you.

We look forward to hearing from you! Patrizia & Axel
