Great stuff, tough I would recall, seeing something simlair on some other 3D art site, but just do not remember what.
But anyway, the texturing and modelling is pretty great.

I can see some small texture stretching around the eyes and the nose from the sub-d’s, but that is all that I can crit.

hehheh… I love it. just a bit streching on the nose and cheeks with the textures but that’s no biggie…
the design is what makes this great… it’s original, looks very big and sad creature…

This is my interpretation of the demon called “boruta” from slovian’s myth.
He’s my design - I drawed him some time ago. And I made him in Blender last year (but only the head ). I spend much more time texturing it than modelling. Textures was drawed (handdrawed) in Gimp. This is old version of this scene (it was avarded on Blenderownia :))
And I stoped work of this. But I diged it on my hdd last month. I decided to modify it a little - new lights, background, updated textures. To gain DoF I used the supercoolcamera360motionblur trick
