Thanks to the from another great tut from Kent Trammell over at BC. I’m still trying to make it more creepy.
What slightly bugs me is that this is too un-tree-like. In the respective tutorial, the final thing at least looked like a tree (far-fetched one, to be sure), but this has the mouth & eyes a bit too prominent and obvious - size and shape you’d never see naturally. The arms just enforce the artificiality further. Just something to consider.
I might be wrong but I think he is going for my stylized than something found in nature. I am pretty sure anyone would figure it for a ‘creepy tree’
