Cricket Tournament in Holland

Hey all! This Q is mainly for the people in Holland:

There is a cricket tournament taking place in Holland these days. The teams are Australia, Pakistan and India.

Holland is not so famous for its Cricket team… so what are you guys thinking about it?

Well, I’m not from Holland but I would imagine they’re thinking: http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/37.gif http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons6/28.gif

wow, sounds terribly exciting.

sorry, but I had to laugh.

yes probably :o … :stuck_out_tongue:

Does the Holland cricket team wear clogs while playing? That might make it a bit more fun. It would also explain why the Holland cricket team is not so famous.

Well its International Cricket Council’s move to market the game in those parts of the world where there is not much solid cricket.

Guys in USA might not even know whats cricket perhaps… but i like the game…

Guys in the USA have baseball and thus no need for cricket.

To me they’re both too boring to live through.

I heard cricket is a bit less competitive then baseball.

i think the other countries couldn’t figure out the 4 bases of baseball and so reduced it to 2 and simplified the rules.

j/k

Yeah, cricket is rather simple

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.
Each man that’s in the side that’s in, goes out and when he’s out he comes in and the next man goes in until he’s out.
When they are all out, the side that’s out comes in and the side that’s been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When both sides have been in and out including the not outs, that’s the end of the game.

Screw cricket, you guys should play hockey :stuck_out_tongue:
