Crosshair Cursor in Edit Mode

Hello,

I have a strange problem in Blender. Instead of the Arrow Cursor in Edit Mode, I now have this CrossHair Cursor:

• see the cursor in red circle. Is there a way around it?

File > User Preferences > Interface >> [ ] Large Cursors

Uncheck this to make cursor smaller.
