Other than the fact that as a Scot I think the English Lake District area is like a budget version of the Scottish Highlands, these are fantastic. My favourite are the two cairn versions with grass.
Many thanks for the comments (and advice on the other thread, which I shall try to follow when I have a minute). I would love to visit the Highlands one day - though I fear it may ruin the Lake District for me (much as the Lake District ruined the Peak District for me… and I only live 30 mins from the Peak District!)

I’m about the same distance from Loch Lomond which most people would consider the start of the Highlands at this end of the country. When life returns to some form of post-Covid normality I need to start taking advantage of that fact. It’s crazy that I can live in one of the most densely populated areas of Scotland (Paisley just SW of Glasgow) and be a mere 30 minutes drive away from such stunning scenery.
