I don’t know if anyone’s seen this yet.
I guess this is the company that made the City of Heroes / City of Villains / and soon to be released Marvel Universe Online games (I don’t know much about the company). They’ve released their Animation Rig for free, under the GNU General Public License. This is the rig they use for all of their characters in their games.
It only works in Max, and it downloads as a .exe file (I’m on a mac, I can’t check it out). I paged through the .pdf and it looks pretty interesting. Could something like this be adapted, recreated, or even reverse-engineered for Blender? Does the GNU General Public License even allow for such a thing?
