CTRL-C on mac?

Hello, fellow blenderers, game devvers, artists, and mac users!
I am using blender on my mac, and I ran into a problem! I was trying to get up the copy face menu thing or whatever its called. Anyway, I had previously tried to access this menu, and failed, but its never really been important before. Now I really need to use it. I have tried CTRL-C, CMD-C, ALT-C and SHIFT-C and all kinds of odd combinations in edit mode with a face selected, but none of these are working! Am I just using the wrong shortcut, is this just not possible on a mac?

Being on a Mac has nothing to do with it.
I’m assuming you saw this from a doc/tutorial for an old version of blender and you are using the current version (latest 2.65a).

In File / User Preferences / Addons, enable the ‘Copy Attributes’ addon. http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Extensions:2.6/Py/Scripts/3D_interaction/Copy_Attributes_Menu
