Ctrl + F11 not working?

Heyy iv created an animation on blender, however when i press ctrl and F11 the animation is not opening up and i have rendered it.

Try changing the player in the File / User Preferences / Files / Animation Player setings

Go to the User Preferences from the File menu and change the player and add the file path to your player.

It’s not working, i’ve even set it to factory settings then rendered again.

and can i ask if there is a particular amount of frames you need to render to play the animation?
