current rendering/lighting tutorials for 2.4

im trying to find some good manual and/or tutorial information on rendering (blender and yafray), rendering settings, lighting, light types, materials etc…

there’s a lot of good stuff out there, but i want stuff that apply’s to 2.4…

whats current and good??

I don’t think lighting has changed much, if at all, since 2.37a - other than the way lamps are drawn in the 3D window that is.
