For Blender 2.56ahttp://blenderpythonscripts.wordpress.com/2011/01/17/cursor-control-0-5-0/

It’s not 100% clear to me what the script does. Do you have a movie about it?

Hi!

I have no movie that shows the script.

In three words: 3D-Cursor on steroids.

You sort of get three scripts in one that extends functionality around the 3D-cursor.

  1. History tracking. A script that remembers the last 144 locations of the cursor. And buttons to navigate back and forth through the history.
  2. Memory. You get a slot to store, swap, and recall one cursor location. The currently stored location is displayed as a grayed cursor in the 3D-view
  3. Control. You can move the cursor to different targets based on selected mesh elements.

Thanks for your effort  Great tool.
