This addon is very useful, so when I updated to 2.8 I needed to figure out how to update the addon as well. It seems to work now:

Yes, it worked fine for me too. Quite useful too!

I have hosted the add-on for people who want to download this latest version for 2.8
I took the liberty of calling it version 1.0 , since the latest by Jacob_Morris was 0.8 and that was for pre 2.8 Blender.

@Steffenvy : Your code header read version “0_2” which is a little odd because the latest from @Jacob_Morris from his download, is 0.8 and reads “0_8” in the header. Are you sure you started from the latest version Steffenvy? And if not, I wonder if maybe functionality has been lost or maybe there are errors, in the earlier version.
